Assistant Imam Amar Abdifatah brings a depth of traditional Islamic scholarship and modern academic excellence to the Kanata Muslim Association (KMA). His scholarly journey (Rihla) began with linguistic studies in Egypt, followed by training in the Haramayn (Makkah & Madinah). He is nearing the completion of his studies in the Faculty of Hadith at the Islamic University of Madinah and has received specialized training in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh) under the direct mentorship of Shaykh Dr.Labeeb Najeeb in Indonesia and Malaysia.

In addition to his traditional studies, Amar is a graduate of the University of Ottawa with a Joint Honours in Political Science and Communication. He is currently nearing the completion of his Master’s degree at Arizona State University, specializing in Global History. Brother Amar is dedicated to bridging classical wisdom with contemporary relevance, offering structured learning through the Ilm Pathway and transformative mentorship for the next generation.
